Christmas: a celebration of love and the finest flavors. Every year, people look forward anew to seeing the beautifully decorated city, as well as taking part in the many festivities associated with the Christmas market and Christmastime in general. Of course, a city like Stuttgart couldn’t possibly miss out on the celebration of a Christmas market. And precisely for that reason, from 29th November to 23rd December 2023 Restaurant Tauberquelle will showcase our wares at the Stuttgart Christmas Market near the Old Castle on Schillerplatz (passage to Königsstraße).
Christmas in the City
As winter slowly makes its way into the city, Stuttgart transforms into one big Christmas market with glistening lights. This winter wonderland twinkles and sparkles, and the smell of gingerbread, spices and mulled wine wafts through the air. Christmas is well and truly here. As a restaurant, we wouldn’t dare miss out on such a festive occasion.
We want to make this time of year just that little bit more special with our delicacies, plus a drop of beer, schnapps, wine, sparkling wine or champagne. Let us spoil you with our delectable meals and beverages in a festive atmosphere after you’ve finished your Christmas shopping or spent the day at the museum. After all, it’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Event location “Schäfers-Hütte” (shepherd’s hut) available to rent for Christmas parties
NEW: You can rent out our homely “Schäfers-Hütte” (Shepherd’s Hut) with space for 30 – 40 people if you are organizing a small Christmas party or a quiet evening with friends or business partners.
Give us a call or email info@tauberquelle-stuttgart.de – we will be happy to give you a non-binding quote. Alternatively you could also hold your Christmas party at our homely event space for 35 people, located on the first floor of the Restaurant Tauberquelle, or you can book exclusive access to the restaurant, which seats 50.
Stuttgart Christmas market – 300 years of tradition
Stuttgart Christmas Market is made truly special by the surrounding architecture: the medieval Old Castle, the towers of the Stiftskirche and the Baroque New Castle. The 280 lovingly decorated stalls are truly a sight to behold. Offering a tradition that has lasted over 300 years and an attractive selection of Christmas goods, Stuttgart Christmas Market is one of the most beautiful and most magnificent markets in Europe.
Christmas cheer(s) in our beer garden
Our magnificent beer garden at Restaurant Tauberquelle is a little bit too cold for our guests during this time of the year, but in its place we can offer a lovingly decorated Christmas stall and lots of tasty dishes. Treat yourself to the traditional specialities on our menu and enjoy a festive evening at our restaurant.
We would be delighted to see you at our traditional Christmas market stall, where we’ll enjoy the Christmas festivities together with great food and a drop of mulled wine, wine, schnapps or champagne.
